Not at all! This trip is especially welcoming of complete beginners. The surf lessons are provided at a 2:1 student to instructor ratio. This enables you to receive personalised feedback based on your skill level and goals. You’ll progress safely and confidently, no matter where you’re starting from.Whether you have already taken a few surf classes or already can confidently catch green waves. You're also more than welcome. And you know what's the best part? Not only will you be developing your skills progressively, but you'll also be having so much fun in the mean time as well! What can be more fun than being in a supportive all-girls environment, cheering each other on?

We’re a mix! Mostly girls from Europe, America and Australia.While we may have different backgrounds, we're all looking to connect, surf and feel alive!

Most of the women who join us are 21 - 36 years old! With the average age of the surf trips usually being around 26. Honestly, it’s more about energy than age. If you are open-minded, love good vibes, and are up for an adventure, you’ll fit right in.

Surf sessions are planned around the ocean, as the tides and wind have a lot of impact on our schedule! The surf sessions are usually between 6:30am - 3pm. Exact surf times are confirmed one day in advance, as they depend on tides and changing conditions. We’ll always keep you updated with daily plans and any adjustments along the way.Flexibility is part of the experience, welcome to the adaptable life of a surfer ;)

That is totally understandable! By filling out the interest form, you'll have the option to plan in a video call with us. Please pick a date and time that works best for you. During the call you'll get to have a chat with us and ask any questions you may have and provide you with the necessary advice & guidance!You can also send an email to luna@lunasurftrip.com or a DM on Instagram to @lunasurftrip. When you do decide to join our Ericeira trip, you'll receive a Portugal travel guide and the ultimate packing list. You'll have ongoing pre-travel support, all you have to do is reach out! You’ll be supported before the trip has even started!

Absolutely! Most of our girls arrive solo and it’s one of the most beautiful parts of the experience. What starts as a group of strangers, ends up turning into a little surf family (and friends for life!)You're also more than welcome to join together with your friend!

Our trips include a mix of surf lessons, creative activities, wellness activities, evening outings and day trips!While the week is designed to help you connect together, everything is always optional. There’s plenty of space to rest, recharge, or take time for yourself, whether that’s solo or with the group.

Trip cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to luna@lunasurftrip.com to be considered valid.The entire payment is due 60 days before the trip start date.Cancellations made by the participant 45 days or more before the trip start date are eligible for a 50% refund of all instalments paid.Cancellations made by the participant 44 days or less before the trip start date are non-refundable.No-shows or early departures are non-refundable.Please note: Accommodations, activities, and services are pre-booked and become non-refundable 45 days before the trip start date. For this reason, strict cancellation policies apply.

The ocean is unpredictable so it is important to remember the waves change on a daily basis and depend on various factors (swell, wind, weather conditions) therefore, we are unable to guarantee clean perfect waves every surf session.Our instructors will always try their best to find the most suitable surf spot for all levels of the group.

We aim to work with nature, rather than against it.If conditions or weather changes, we’ll always adapt the schedule to make sure you still have the best possible experience. That might mean adjusting surf times or swapping activities. Flexibility is part of the surfer life!

Our Puerto Escondido trip will host between 5 - 8 girls! From the moment you are added in our group chat, we aim to be an intimate "friend group" vibe rather than a big chaotic group trip environment. Based on past experiences and positive reviews we've received, this number makes sure we can all connect with each other on a personal level and have a fun & cohesive group!
