FAQs
Not at all! We welcome all levels from complete beginners to more experienced surfers. Our instructors tailor each session to your skill level and goals. You’ll progress safely and confidently, no matter where you’re starting from.
We’re a mix! Mostly girls from Europe and Australia.
While we may have different backgrounds, we're all looking to connect, surf and feel alive!
Most of our girls are between 20 and 30 but honestly, it’s more about energy than age. If you’re open-minded, love good vibes, and are up for an adventure, you’ll fit right in.
Surf sessions are planned around the ocean. We typically have 5 sunrise surfs (between 5:00–8:00 AM) and one sunset surf around 3:30 PM. So prepare to wake up nice and early!
Exact surf times are confirmed one day in advance, as they depend on tides and changing conditions.
We’ll always keep you updated with daily plans and any adjustments along the way.
Flexibility is part of the experience, welcome to the adaptable life of a surfer ;)
Send me an email to luna@lunasurftrip.com or a DM on Instagram @lunasurftrip. We can plan in a quick 15-minute call. In our call you can ask me all any questions and I can provide you with advice & guidance.
When you do decide to join our Siargao trip, you'll receive my personalised Philippines travel guide and packing list. You'll also receive solo travel and flight tips. You’ll be supported before the trip has even started!
Absolutely! Most of our girls arrive solo and it’s one of the most beautiful parts of the experience. What starts as a group of strangers almost always turns into a little surf family (and friends for life). You're also more than welcome to join together with your friend.
You’ll fly into Siargao’s Sayak Airport (IAO). Most girls catch a connecting flight through Cebu or Manila, both have daily flights. I’ll help you find the best route and even suggest airlines I’ve used myself.
Our trips include a mix of surf lessons, surf skate sessions, workshops, yoga, video analysis, shared meals, and relaxed evening outings.
While the week is designed to help you connect together, everything is always optional. There’s plenty of space to rest, recharge, or take time for yourself, whether that’s solo or with the group.

The ocean is unpredictable so it is important to remember the waves change on a daily basis and depend on various factors (swell, wind, weather conditions) therefore, we are unable to guarantee clean perfect waves every surf sessions.
Our instructors and myself will always try our best to find the most suitable surf spot for all levels of the group.
Our Philippines trip takes place on a tropical island, and with that being said, anything can happen. We work with nature, rather than against it.
If conditions or weather changes, we’ll always adapt the schedule to make sure you still have the best possible experience. That might mean adjusting surf times or swapping activities.
Flexibility is part of island life!
